It was such a blast working with the NBC Sports On Air Graphics team again on the 2026 Winter Olympics broadcast package! The package mixed elegant nods to fashion and luxury while also drawing on mid-century design and vintage winter sports aesthetics. The most challenging aspect of the project was finding an aesthetic balance between the multiple venue locations.
My role was design, animation, and art direction on specialty promo graphics including the promo package, bumpers, Delta Medal Count, and so much more. During the Games, I traveled to work on-site at NBC Sports HQ and worked closely with the in-house team to develop new assets and bumps to keep the coverage fresh.
NBC Sports approached me in May 2023 to contribute to the Paris Olympics broadcast graphics package. What was supposed to be a month-long project turned into a year of work with their On Air Graphics team, covering everything from promos to bumpers to sponsored content. My main focus was on a part of the package that celebrated the ‘art de vivre’ of Paris culture – the art of living well and finding enjoyment in all things. I developed a light-hearted look and feel – mixing collage, texture, hand-drawn elements, floral motifs, and match-cut motion, which went on to become the foundation for the entire package’s motion logic.

I developed 13 different typographic looks that I built into an After Effects toolkit. These toolkits were distributed to the animation team in order to fulfill live requests from editors and producers during the Games. This meant that the toolkits needed to be flexible and easy to use without too much restriction.
